Bass Strait Charters is not responsible for obtaining your fishing licence.  If you plan on casting a rod, you will need to obtain a fishing license.  3 day passes start at $10 and are issued via the Service Victoria website. Please make sure you have a valid fishing licence that covers you for the date of your charter. If you’re found without a current licence, officers can issue you an infringement notice. In extreme cases, you can be charged.

Conditions and seasons dictate what’s on the bite.

Snapper, Whiting, Flathead, Squid, Gummies, Salmon & Reef fish are popular catches.

Specialised trips in summer for Kingfish and Tuna can be arranged upon request and conditions permitting.

We’ll always chase whatever’s biting best!
